CASA of Travis County has a full-time Director of Volunteer Recruitment and Retention position available. The Director of Volunteer Recruitment and Retention leads CASA of Travis County in identifying and institutionalizing best practices and developing innovative practices related to volunteer recruitment, engagement, and retention, including creation of the annual Volunteer Recruitment and Retention Plan and leads a team focused on execution of the plan. Reporting to the Senior Director of Community Engagement, the DVRR is a member of the Program Leadership team and provides leadership, expertise, and ongoing support to Program staff in volunteer engagement efforts. The Director of Volunteer Recruitment and Retention must have a proven track record of exercising cultural humility, challenging biases, and identifying and confronting inequities in child welfare or other social service settings.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree required as well as experience in supervising, coaching, and motivating staff and/or volunteers. Preferred candidates will have experience with CASA of Travis County and knowledge of CASA mission and standards, experience managing paid staff, demonstrated experience with customer service and program innovation and demonstrated experience with volunteer recruitment and/or engagement.
