Director of Communications

CASA of Travis County has a Director of Communications position available. The Director of Communications leads initiatives to achieve CASA’s mission by creating and executing a comprehensive, strategic and sustainable communications plan targeted to CASA’s diverse audiences, including volunteers, donors, staff, community partners, media, influencers, and the broader public. The Director of Communications works closely and collaboratively with all parts of the organization to ensure achievement of CASA’s goals and the success of its programs, services, and events. The Director of Communications reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and supervises members of the communications and marketing team.

Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, communication, marketing, journalism or related field required and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience. Preferred candidates will have Spanish language – Limited working proficiency or higher on Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale.
