As Emily Rudenick LeBlanc steps into her new role as CEO, we are happy to announce Stephanie Weiss as the new Chief Program Officer!
"I could not be prouder to work for an organization that consistently innovates ways to push the child welfare system to improve so that there are better outcomes for children and families. CASA of Travis County is committed to our community, and I love working to make a difference right here at home!" - Stephanie Weiss
With a degree in psychology from UT, Stephanie started with the SAFE Alliance before becoming a Program Director for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
For 9 years, Stephanie has served as the Senior Director of Advocacy, where she has been a champion for children and families.
Under her leadership, the Advocacy team launched new initiatives and developed impactful strategies that strengthened our ability to make thoughtful recommendations to support child and family well-being.
“I have never worked with anyone as committed to integrity and child safety as Stephanie Weiss. The expertise and leadership she brings to CASA helped us take our advocacy to a new level and there is no one better suited to step into the Chief Program Officer role than Stephanie. She has my trust and the trust of the team, and I have no doubt that she will continue to make CASA better,” says Emily Rudenick LeBlanc.
Congratulations, Stephanie! We’re excited to see how you’ll continue to support CASA’s mission!
