In honor of Black History Month, we’ve compiled a list of books, ATX Black-Owned Businesses, films, television, social media creators, articles, and resources that serve to amplify the Black community’s voice and help others to learn, grow, and enact change.
Supporting and amplifying the voices of the Black community doesn't stop at the end of this month. We can support local Black-owned businesses and Black creators, consume educational content, honor the legacies of Black leaders, and uplift Black voices in our community, not only this month but every day. We can commit ourselves to becoming better allies to the Black community, and to becoming anti-racist.
Equity, inclusion, and anti-racism education are essential so that we can truly honor the best interest of every child and fully support each family CASA serves.
