Friends of CASA is a volunteer organization that promotes the quality, sustainability and growth of CASA of Travis County. We are dedicated to helping abused and neglected children within the Travis County Court System reach safe and permanent homes by creating awareness, raising funds and serving as an event volunteer base for CASA.
Specific service areas include:
- Providing special event planning, fundraising and staffing
- Partnering with local businesses to plan and execute third-party fundraising events
- Assisting with CASA volunteer appreciation and retention
- Serving as extra support for CASA special projects

Eat Well … Do Good! CASA Day at Phil's Icehouse and Amy's Ice Creams
January 14 is CASA Day at Phil’s Ice House and Amy’s Ice Creams on Burnet Road. Just eat at Phil’s or Amy’s on Burnet Road (or both!) on Thursday, January 14 and tell the cashier you’re there “for the CASA kids.” The more people who buy their meals or ice cream for the CASA kids, the more Phil’s and Amy’s will donate to CASA of Travis County – up to 20 percent of the entire day’s sales!
Over a thousand children in Travis County benefit from the help and guidance of CASA volunteers each year. Now you can support them simply by enjoying a delicious meal or ice cream cone.
