2010 Children's Campaign

A sister and brother in the foster care system - Becca, age 5, and Mark, age 7 - were recently asked what they wanted their Forever Family to be like. Here is what they wrote:

Luckily, they had a CASA volunteer named Carolyn who advocated for their needs in the courtroom and got to know the children so well that when meeting with potential adoptive parents, she was quickly able to find a family that fit Becca and Mark perfectly.

You can help many other children like Becca and Mark reach the safe, permanent and loving home they deserve by making a gift of $10, $25, $50 or more to help CASA of Travis County train and support volunteers like Carolyn. Last year CASA volunteers served 1,156 children. That is 75% of the children in Travis County removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Our goal is to serve all children who need a CASA, but to do this, we need your support.

No donation is too large or too small to help more kids like Becca and Mark reach a safe and permanent home with the support of a CASA volunteer. Donate to CASA today and give every abused and neglected child a voice and a future.

DonateNow

Each year CASA asks for support from our community through our Annual Children's Campaign so that we can continue to advocate for and support child victims of abuse and neglect.

If you are a previous donor to the Children's Campaign, please consider an increased gift. If you have not previously donated to the Children's Campaign, please consider contributing this year.

Your gift will help CASA continue to be a powerful voice for children in the court system - often the only stable and supportive adult presence these children have - to help protect them and find them a safe, permanent and loving home. If you have any questions about our fundraising drive, please contact our Development Director, Elizabeth Hummer, at (512) 459-2272 or via email.
